iOS 9.1 Jailbreak Update

The iOS jailbreak community is filled with quite a lot of jailbreak teams who have earned respectable positions amongst the jailbreak lovers. TaiG and Pangu teams are the leading ones, but there is one more team which deserves equal spotlight – the PP team. However, even the PP team has created fans for itself, who are eagerly waiting for PP iOS 9.1 jailbreak.

Apple is currently working on iOS 9.1 and has already released the 5th iOS 9.1 beta [at the time of writing this article]. The new firmware will be resolving most of the bugs found in iOS 9 and will be a perfect firmware to create a jailbreak for. The PP team, who had been in the middle of a controversy for allegedly stealing TaiG’s jailbreak exploits for iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4 jailbreaks, has been inactive since iOS 8.4.1 patched their jailbreak. However, Team PP was the one to come up with a Mac jailbreak tool even before the TaiG team, which tells us that the PP team is no less than TaiG or Pangu. This ultimately leads us to believe that the PP team might be working on a PP iOS 9.1 jailbreak.

PP iOS 9.1 :

As for the exploits in iOS 9, it was only a couple of weeks ago when Apple gave credit to the Pangu and TaiG teams for discovering an important security exploit in the iOS 9 firmware. This tells us that both the teams were working on jailbreaking iOS 9. Pangu has already released their iOS 9 Jailbreak , Pangu 9 [ext link] . Right now there is no Mac version for the Pangu 9 jailbreak .  So if TaiG is preparing to jailbreak iOS 9.1 , then there is a huge possibility that even the PP team is working on the same. Because during iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4, only the TaiG and PP teams were active and had rolled out jailbreaks for both the firmwares together, which is why it is highly likely that PP is gearing up for a jailbreak release this time too.

PP iOS 9.1 Jailbreak Release Date :

Meanwhile, Zerodium has offered one million dollars for a perfect chain of iOS 9 browser-based exploits. This comes as an encouragement to the jailbreak teams, and the 31st October deadline will definitely push all the teams to work harder. This makes us think that even the PP team is working on jailbreaking iOS 9.1 in order to win the million dollar bounty. We expect the PP iOS 9.1 jailbreak to come out right after the public release of iOS 9.1, so it can be any time soon.
